Terms And Conditions

The following are the Terms and Conditions of use that govern your use of the www.desitalkies.co.uk site (hereinafter referred to as ‘Site’) and any Services or products provided by us.

By visiting or using the Site or our Services you expressly agree that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions, as updated from time to time. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Site or any other services listed on site. We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes we make will be effective immediately when we post a revised version of these Terms and Conditions on the Site. The ‘Last Updated’ date above will tell you when these Terms and Conditions were last revised. By continuing to use this Site after that date, you agree to the changes.

The Site is not intended for anyone under the age of 18 and no person under the age of 18 may use the Site. If you are using the Site, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old. Our Site and Services are for your personal and non-commercial use.

Purchase Policy:

  • By booking tickets on Site you agree that are making a request to book the tickets for the event selected and your booking is not confirmed until your order is processed.
  • If your order is submitted using Paypal as a payment option, you will receive a confirmation email stating “Your Booking is Confirmed” with event details from the Site.
  • If the order is placed using Direct Bank Transfer, you will receive a confirmation email stating that “Your Booking is Confirmed” with the ticket details from the Site. Your order is only confirmed upon receiving the funds to our bank account. You will receive the order confirmation email confirming the receipt of your funds. You will have to transfer the funds within 24 hours window.
  • Alternatively, if the order is placed using Collect at Theatre, you will receive a confirmation email stating “Your Booking is Confirmed” with the ticket details from the Site.
  • All payments are carried out on PayPal platform NOT on Site. No Card information is stored in Site.
  • There are no allocated seats unless specified on the Ticket.
  • You need to be present at venue 30 minutes before the show time and show a valid id proof in order to collect your tickets.
  • Any payments made erroneously will not be refunded by Site in any circumstances. Please check the payment and booking details before submitting the order.
  • All tickets purchased are NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances. In an unlikely event if the show is cancelled by the Cinema then we reserve the right to transfer your ticket to the next available show.

Liability:               

  • Under any circumstances our liability to you shall be limited to the price you paid for your ticket.

Film classifications and rules relating to children:

  • Photographic identification (for example driving license, passport or any other photographic identification that we deem to be acceptable) may be requested prior to permitting entry into 12A, 15 and 18 certificated films in the UK, or into 12A, 15A. 16 and 18 certificated films in Ireland. Tickets purchased through the Site  for such films can only be collected and/or used upon production of the necessary identification, if requested.
  • In the UK children under 12 years of age are permitted to view films with either a U, PG, 12 or 12A certificate, provided always that:
  • children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times to watch any film;
  • children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult to watch any film with a 12A certificate; and
  • children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult to watch any films starting at 7pm or later.
  • In Ireland, children under 16 years of age are permitted to view films with either a G, PG, 12A or 15A certificated provided always that:
  • children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times to watch any film;
  • children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult to watch any film with a 12A certificate;
  • children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult to watch any films starting at 7pm or later;
  • children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult to watch any film with a 15A certificate; and;
  • no child under the age of 16 years will be permitted to view any film which has been rated as 16, and no child under the age of 18 years will be permitted to view any film which has been rated as 18
  • Other than above, parent(s) and/or guardian(s) shall have sole discretion as to whether or not their children are accompanied.
  • Parents and guardians shall at all times remain responsible for their children whether or not they are accompanied.
  • Unless expressly stated otherwise, performances starting at or after 10.30pm are strictly for those aged 18 regardless of a film’s certificate. Photographic identification may be required for entry into any films starting at or after this time.
  • For the purpose of the rules set out in the above paragraph, an adult is a person aged 18 years or over.

General:                                 

  • We reserve the right to amend the Ticket information without notice.
  • Under all circumstances you adhere to the venue safety regulations. Please check with the venue management for safety information.
  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Parents and guardians shall at all times remain responsible for their children whether or not they are accompanied. An adult here is considered to be a person above 18 years old.
